A poem written by one of Rinpoche’s students was recited by the committee to Rinpoche.
We asked the Monk to say the lines in English whilst the committee presented the poem in Tibetan.
As you can see, with none of us fluent (barely even able to read) Tibetan, this gave Rinpoche a good laugh!
